Siku meaning "ICE" in Greenlandic is an Ultra Premium Vodka uniquely blended with pure glacier ice, which is up to 60.000 years old, from the Qalerallit Sermia Glacier in Greenland. After harvesting, the glacier ice is crushed and palletized ready for shipment abroad Royal Arctic Shipping Lines to Aalborg in Dennmark. It is then transported by reefer unit to the distillery in the Netherlands. Siku Glacier Ice Vodka is blended using a unique process where by it becomes liquid at minus 25,9°C. Crafted in small batches in the Netherlands, this surprisingly crisp vodka is distilled five times from the finest grains, creating an exceptionally clean, smooth finish. The glass bottle is fired three times at temperatures ranging up to 1148°F over a seven-day time frame, to create a distingtive package that is sure to be prized by collectors. From the aqua-coloured base that creates the illusion of Greenland's glacier ice, the virgon-glass bottle evokes the Northern Lights dancing across the Arctic skies.
